My Constant Source of Inspiration

I find inspiration for my writing and photography everywhere; from a hawk, on the tip-top of a telephone pole, going unnoticed by the hubbub of traffic below to the abandoned raccoon baby on the roof of a neighbor’s home waiting to be rescued.   I rarely go anywhere without my Nikon and I’ve always got my eyes open.

It’s really about being aware of your surroundings and knowing your subject matter.  My work with animals gives me an advantage as well as the experience of knowing that the unexpected will happen and those will be amongst some of the best images.

My most constant source of inspiration come from nature and directly from the animals I share my life with.   They keep me on the move and always laughing.  I am thankful for every moment I get to have with them.
